Development of our directory was started in 1995 with the idea of providing prospective brides with as much information as we possibly could to help with the planning of their weddings. With 17 years of wedding photography experience, I know what a time consuming and stressful task it is to put a wedding together.  The first year was devoted to developing a format for our directory and the second year was spent visiting wedding service providers with our ideas.  In 1997, we printed our first directory which listed eighty eight wedding services in the local Parkersburg area.   These were handed out at Bridal Shows at malls and other wedding service locations.   In 1998, we expanded the listings to cover from Wheeling to Parkersburg.  In 1999, the directory went to the Internet and now covers an area from Steubenville, OH to the Huntington-Charleston, WV area.  We now list eight hundred wedding services and three hundred links to other wedding services in many categories. 

We have also expanded to include connections to other wedding web sites.   This, and the connections to other business's web pages was not possible in the printed directory.  Our decision to go to the internet was driven by the fact that more and more people are getting access to the internet and that we actually outgrew the printed directory.  The wedding service business changes very quickly and we can make updates more often on our web site than we could only once a year in the old directory when it went to the printers.

We do not refer any brides to any of the businesses listed on our pages, nor do we rate any of the businesses to the brides.  We only provide the listings and the brides can make their own decisions.
